shelly + joe - montecito country club santa barbara wedding

Wow.

Loved everything about this wedding! Got to work with coordinator Jackie Blackwell for the first time and she was excellent to work with! She was on top of things yet flexible! Also worked with photographer Tara Rochelle for the first time and she was incredible!

Gorgeous bride had a real classy retro look going so I went with a desaturated filtering to match the style and feel of the day.

When they told me the song they wanted for their Cinema Reale, I got really giddy. That's because they wanted to use Bif Naked's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". If you had never heard the song before, you may be tempted at first to think "A Metallica cover? For a wedding song?". While the lyrics may not be your typical wedding love song, it doesn't matter in this case and I think you'll agree when you watch the clip. It worked perfectly.

Love the video, but how do I get it to play without stopping every few shots to buffer? I have high-speed internet. Using IE or Firefox to view.

This video is absolutely brilliant!I've sent the link to several of my friends who photograph/video weddings . . . it sets a standard for others to strive for. I love the elegant simplicity of their wedding. Alex, thanks for sharing this link on the TQS website. It looks like it couldn't have been a more perfect day. I still think you should have had a quilt in there somewhere :) Thanks again!

I wish I would have known about you three years ago when I first got married. I do have a 19 year old son though and I have shown him some of your wonderful videos and I have told him that someday when he gets married, I sure will be calling you to do my sons wedding video. You are very talented and creative. I always look forward to seeing your new weekly videos.
